Craft Witbier Beer

Witbier craft beer has a normally evident unmalted wheat flavor. Coriander, citrus and flavors deriving from phenols contribute to a complex and elegant character. A very slight lactic acidity deriving from fermentation with the use of Lactobacillus is present in some specimens, giving a refreshing note, while it is totally absent in others. Low to no hop flavor. Hop bitterness is normally contained, and some bitters in taste can come from the contribution given by the skin of bitter oranges.
